My grandmother was a freelance artist. She worked in Los Angeles between 1910 - 1925. I have inherited most of her sketches... and there are plenty of them. I have lofty goals to digitize them all someday. She lived to be 94 years old and continued to draw and sketch right up through the final months. She left behind many blank drawing tablets. These are not special paper and aside from the nostalgia of the 79 cent Wool Co stickers on the fronts, they are not terribly interesting.
These tablets will be going to the local preschool in town. I'm sure that a preschool can always use blank paper and while it's been a few years since we were there, last time I checked, the kids were not too picky about the quality of their drawing papers. In some ridiculous romantic way I like to think it would make my grandmother happy knowing all these little kids were using her tablets.

I find this blog lovely. I noticed those tablets at your house and knew immediately whose they were. What a great way to gift them on and to keep the memory alive
